The Gillioz Jazz Festival returns April 4 for a full day of music, energy, and that unmistakable feeling you only get when jazz takes over a room.
It starts with something special.
From 11 AM to 4 PM, the historic Gillioz Theatre lobby transforms into the Gillioz Jazz Café. A free, open-to-the-public experience where jazz feels alive and up close. Think bistro seating, drinks in hand, incredible regional musicians, and a room full of people just vibing together. Kids, grandparents, first-timers, diehards, it doesn’t matter. Everyone fits here.

At 7:30 PM, the main stage lights up with Aubrey Logan joining the powerhouse Missouri Jazz Orchestra for a one-night-only performance. Logan an award-winning vocalist and trombonist with multiple Billboard Top 10 jazz albums, brings serious presence, personality, and fire. Pair that with MOJO’s full big band sound, and you’ve got something that hits hard in the best way.
This festival has grown every year, but one thing hasn’t changed: the talent. From names like Branford Marsalis and John Pizzarelli to this year’s lineup, the bar keeps rising, and Springfield keeps showing up.
